Press Release

The club has issued the following Press Release

Club News

In direct relation to the above press release, Epsom & Ewell F.C's Youth team that compete in the Southern Youth League with immediate effect will now be known as Epsom & Ewell Youth (SYL) F.C.

Epsom & Ewell's 2006-07 league season in the Combined Counties will start on 12th August 2006, the fixtures will not be released until the league structure has been ratified at the league's AGM at the end of this month and the Ryman & Southern League fixtures have been published

The process of arranging (and re-arranging!) our pre-season fixtures is currently occurring. There were a number of pre-season friendlies confirmed at the start of this month but due to pitch unavailability at Merland Rise and opponents pulling out there is only two confirmed pre-season friendlies at the moment both at home to Croydon. When other pre-season friendlies are confirmed they will be displayed on the home page.

The FA Competition draws are expected to be released on 6th or 7th July but this may be delayed based on the progress of England in the World Cup. Surrey Cup competition draws are expected to be made and received in mid August.

This website will be taken down in the next couple of weeks for a short period of time (hopefully it will be back in a few days) so that it can be revamped. The new website will have a new forum (from a different supplier) that will be hopefully better for everyone, this decision has been taken as a result of a number of people have complained that the current one freezes their computer, this is due to Bravenet have recently introduced pop-up adverts and to stop them occurring you have to take up their premium rate service that costs a regular monthly subscription.
